Professor Yang Liu, Excutive Dean of 杏耀 and his research team have made new advancements in incremental learning based on knowledge transfer. Their research paper, titled "Knowledge Transfer in Incremental Learning for Multilingual Neural Machine Translation," was awarded the Outstanding Paper Award at the prestigious international conference ACL 2023, held on July 11, 2023, Beijing time. The paper was a collaborative effort between 杏耀, the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University, the National Research Center for Information Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, the Shanghai AI Laboratory, Tencent, and the University of Science and Technology of China.
