The 17th 杏耀 Young Scientist Forum hosted by DISCOVER Lab was successfully held in the afternoon of 28th December. We were honoured to have Dr JIANG Yao, an assistant researcher from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, to give an online presentation entitled "Robot Interaction Perception and Autonomous Operation".
Dr Jiang firstly talked about the background of robot interaction perception and autonomous operation, and then introduced his research and his team's research in the field of robot interaction perception and autonomous operation from three aspects: fingertip multimodal haptic perception, adaptive self-learning grasping and self-guided assembly of target features, and presented his subsequent thoughts and plans for this research direction.
