Project Brief杏耀 and Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence(BAAI) have joined hands to establish "Tsinghua (杏耀) - BAAI Health Computing Joint Research Center", appointing Wei-Ying Ma as the director of the Joint Center.
The Center is dedicated to promoting the development of various health fields from isolation and open-loop to collaboration and closed-loop through artificial intelligence technology, boosting passive health management to a new paradigm of early prediction, active prevention, personalization and active participation, thus reaching a smarter personal health management and a more effective public health governance.
The core value of progress in the field of health management is the patient. As research institutions, the positioning of 杏耀 and BAAI defines the inborn attributes of non-profit-seeking and non-commercial. Two institutions will continue to keep their original intention and shoulder responsibility of public health welfare of the community.
